All Bodies Community is thrilled to be partnering with CMT Australia to offer free classes to your community every other month!

About All Bodies Community:

Here at All Bodies Community, we believe that everyone should have access to exercises that work for their bodies. Our mission is to provide each individual with customized exercises that are safe for their bodies and match their needs.

 

Our founder and our trainers all live with CMT (Charcot Marie Tooth). However, we serve a wide range of abilities, from full time wheelchair users, to individuals who compete in triathlons. Whatever your needs, we're here to help you reach your goals.

Upcoming Class Information:

Together we'll work on strengthening the body from a seated or standing position. Both seated and standing versions of each exercise will be shown, so you can choose which variation is best for your body. All you need is a chair and water bottle.

CMT Australia Weekly Team Training Sessions

 

Description:

CMT Team Training is an online small group workout program designed for individuals with similar CMT mobility levels and goals. Sessions are led by a trainer who also has CMT, offering a unique understanding of the CMT experience. The trainer will demonstrate exercises, closely monitor participants' form, and provide personalized feedback. This program also fosters a supportive community where participants can interact and openly share tips and tricks for living with CMT.

 

Exercises focus areas:

  • Improving balance and stability

  • Strengthening the body as a whole, with a focus on the legs

  • Working on trunk strength to improve walking and standing endurance

  • Functional mobility: like getting up from a chair, walking up stairs, and/or transfers

  • Corrective exercises that can help to reduce pain due to muscle imbalances

  • Flexibility

 

Weekly sessions are 50 minutes, and between sessions, the participants will be assigned exercises and stretches on the Everfit exercise app. Depending on participant comfort levels, exercises will combine seated and standing movements, with potential for floor exercises.

Pricing:

$75 USD / Month

Weekly 50 minute small group sessions online via Google Meet

Weekly group exercise plans assigned on the Everfit app

Regular accountability check-ins between sessions

Unlimited access to our CMT friendly on demand video library 

Where:

Sessions are held online via Google Meet. Once your enrolled, you will receive weekly invites.

Session Times:

Wednesdays at 19:00 Sydney time
